Muhammad Ishag khan born before the first world war on 1911, in the small village Babary of Muzaffarnagar.
Ustad Ishag shor hails from a bloch family traditionally well versed in Binnot during 1857 rebellien several members of his family participated actively in the revolution, 17 family died in the revolution by the British upon quell the uprising Ishaq's shore grandfather particularly was an acknowledged master of the art Binnot. Inspired by his example Ishaq Khan begain learning Binnot from childhood and by his early twenties was qualified enough to train shagirds of his own.
In 1932 Ishag khan came to Lahore in search of some job He met Fazal ilahi the calligrapher of Paisa Akhbar publication Lahore and decided to be a calligrapher. In seven months he becomes able to join a news paper as a calligrapher.
Ehsan Danish the famous poet of Lahore when heard that ishag khan is expert in Binnot he was himself very much interested in this art .he introduced to the binnot master Mustafa Akhzar Ali Brailwi He trained Ishaq khan shore so much that it was difficult to recognize which of them the real master. Ehsan Danish and ishag khan shor were both fascinated by the personality of each other. Ehsan Danish learned binnot from him and Ishaq khan shor became a poet of classical traditions and also he started to write extremely witty and well structured short stories in Urdu. About four years before partition in 1942 again moved to Lahore and started to work at American center in Lahore as a calligrapher and artist and lives off the old queen's road.
Ishaq khan shore is a phenomenon of the order of such other men of Lahore as Ehsan Danish, Ustad Daman,
Shakir Ali, Shaikh B Qutab ,and saeed Akhter and Anamolka . He first of all a calligrapher a katib of grate talent, He is a poat in the classical tradition, and wrote good stories in Urdu. Ishag khan shor was also an artist who can put up good exhibitions.
